Welcome to Lincoln Park Boat Club

Lincoln Park Boat Club is the only rowing and paddling club in Chicago which is open to all.

Our mission is to make boating accessible, affordable, safe, and fun for club associates and all members of the Chicago metropolitan community.

ROWING

We have several active rowing teams: sweep and sculling, competitive and recreational.

Our competitive programs are among the fastest teams in the Midwest and the USA

PADDLING

The LPBC paddling group is made up of competitive and recreational athletes in kayak, canoe, SUP

The Lincoln Park lagoon offers one of the best locations in the city for paddling

CLASSES

We offer monthly Learn-to-Row classes, graduating onto our Novice Rowing team.

Boathouse Locations

LPBC has two prime locations in the heart of the city of Chicago

The Lincoln Park Boat House has direct access to the calm waters of the lagoon in the heart of Lincoln Park, and paddling access to Lake Michigan via Diversey Harbor

Our competitive rowing teams boat from “Bubbly Creek” at Eleanor St on the South Side, to train on the long straight stretch of the South Branch, Chicago River
