Paddlers

The LPBC paddling group is made up of competitive and recreational athletes, including kayakers, outrigger canoers, and stand up paddleboarders. Lincoln Park Boat Club’s unique location offers some of the best conditions for recreational and competitive SUP paddlers, as well as storage accommodations for long boats like surfskis, sea kayaks, and outrigger canoes.

If you have questions about paddling, or are interested in any of the disciplines listed here, please contact Olaf Pippel, Paddling Director.

LPBC offers paddle board storage, training, and opportunities for SUP racing.

SUP boarders use the Lincoln Park’s lagoon for short distance and have the option to paddle out to the lake for longer distances. Club equipment for both recreational and competitive use is also available to LPBC members.

Competitive boarders train together for races listed on Midwest Standup Paddleboard.
